TYPES OF TRANSLUCENT ROOFS
The strip skylight
The strip skylight is a solution for large roof openings with no length restrictions. This type of skylight is the optimal choice for public buildings and infrastructure facilities such as airports, train stations, and exhibition centers. It provides sufficient natural light and reasonable savings on artificial light.
The point skylight
The point skylight is ideal for fragmentary lighting and has several configurations: blind (sealed, without opening), double-leaf (opens like a window), and functional (opens like a hatch and is used as a roof access).
VERANDA PROFILE SYSTEM
We use the Veranda system from TS Aluminium to create skylights. Its feature is in the uniform type of joints and components, which protects the system from the vagaries of the weather. There is a so-called “warm profile” for skylights with increased thermal insulation and a “cold profile” when there is no such need.
